UNEARTHING CHOICE COUNSELING
Atsede Scarseth (MA, LPC, TCYM, CIGT, RYT-200) is a therapist & retreat host based in Denver, Colorado.
She helps neurodivergent, highly sensitive, and high-achieving folks build the life they want and deserve. When she’s not traveling the world hosting retreats, Atsede is doing deep work with clients in her sensory-soothing Denver office.
Her newest offering? Therapy Intensives — extended sessions (4 hours), designed to help clients make weeks/months of therapeutic progress in 1-3 days.
PROJECT GOALS
As Atsede’s practice was shifting directions, she hired me to help her market her Therapy Intensives. She needed a new website page to:
clearly feature Therapy Intensives as a valuable service, encouraging people to book Intensives instead of weekly therapy
reflect her unique personality & therapeutic style, in a way that resonates with her ideal clients (neurodivergent, highly sensitive, and high-achieving folks)
have a streamlined way for people to book a paid consultation, making it simple & easy for clients to begin working with her
support her SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts, ensuring that her new website page can be easily found on Google
Our project focused on design, copywriting, and SEO for her newest website page: Therapy Intensives.
DESIGN
We aimed for earthy, grounding vibes — mirroring the lush, plant haven that is Atsede’s therapy office.
A mix of big-text sections, small-text paragraphs, and vibrant images allows this page to resonate with both skimmers and detail-oriented readers.
SEO
I set up the back-end of her website page so that it’s highly visible on Google (and other search engines). This way, her website can market her services 24/7. No constant posting on social media required.
COPYWRITING
I wrote copy that captured Atsede’s authentic voice, so that website visitors can feel like they’re speaking directly to their future therapist.
The copy follows a logical flow, clearly explaining: 1) what Therapy Intensives are, 2) how they differ from weekly therapy, and 3) why they’re a great option for folks who have tried it all and are looking for something different & better.
Next, I added a fresh FAQs page to her website.
Frequently Asked Questions pages place all important information in one easy-to-find place — and increase the likelihood of great-fit clients reaching out to book services.
Finally, I revamped her Contact page to:
invoke the welcoming, soothing experience of being in Atsede’s therapy space
include crystal-clear instructions on how to begin working with Atsede, streamlining the process of website visitors becoming clients
